Benefits – Holidays
Most of our restaurants are closed two days a year, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. These days are intended for you to spend with your loved ones and in most cases surrounded by good food.
Shift Manager/AM/ RM/ CO/GM will be paid for the following holidays:
• Thanksgiving (fourth Thursday in November)
• Christmas (December 25)
Eligible employees will be paid for holiday time off. If you are eligible, your holiday pay will be calculated at your straight-time pay rate as of that holiday multiplied by the number of hours you would normally have worked that day.
If business needs don't allow for the holiday to be taken on the actual holiday, the holiday may be taken any time within the month the holiday falls. Example; Christmas Day holiday may be taken any time within December.
If you are on a paid absence, such as vacation, during a holiday, you will receive holiday pay instead of vacation pay.
If your restaurant is open for business on a holiday, and eligible nonexempt employees work on a recognized holiday, they will receive pay at time and a half and the holiday may be taken any time within the month the holiday falls.
